Michael Page absolutely has plans of lacing up the boxing gloves again after Bellator 281.

Page (20-1 MMA, 16-1 BMMA) faces Logan Storley (13-1 MMA, 8-1 BMMA) for the interim welterweight title in the Bellator 281 main event on Friday, which takes place at OVO Arena Wembley in London. The main card airs on Showtime following prelims on MMA Junkie.

Having already competed twice in boxing, scoring knockouts in both wins, Page thinks now is a good time for him to return to the ring.

“The only reason I stopped back then is because there’s a lot of politics surrounding boxing,” Page told MMA Junkie. “It had nothing to do with like Bellator, they were very happy for me to go and do it, but now, there is a lot more opportunities and it seems to be a lot more common that people are doing it, I’ll 100 percent get going. You’ll definitely see me in a boxing ring again at some point.”

While he admits the offer would be tempting, Page isn’t talking about boxing the likes of YouTube stars Logan and Jake Paul. “MVP” wants to become a world champion in both MMA and boxing.

“For me, I’d love to be the first person ever to hold a world title in MMA and hold a world title in boxing,” Page said. “So the Logan Paul’s and those kinds of things, that has nothing to do with the goal. Don’t get me wrong, if it’s placed on the table and you see those zeros and you rub your eyes a couple of times, you’ll probably say yes. But the goal is more taking it seriously.”
