The Dallas Cowboys released cornerback Rashard Robinson on Saturday after one season with the franchise, per Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.

Robinson is slated to be suspended for the first two games of the 2021 campaign because of a violation of the NFL’s performance-enhancing drugs policy. He compiled 20 tackles in four games (three starts) last season.

The five-year veteran previously spent time with the San Francisco 49ers and New York Jets. He has compiled 85 tackles, two interceptions and 15 pass breakups in 42 career games.

If he signs with another team, Robinson will still have to serve the two-game suspension.

Robinson played college football at LSU and was a 2016 fourth-round pick of the 49ers.
