FRISCO, Texas — The Dallas Stars announced today a new partnership with the Steve Germain Family, owners of the Frisco Fighters of the Indoor Football League (IFL), to manage the Fighters’ business operations for the 2022 season.
Per the agreement, the Dallas Stars will manage sales and marketing of the Fighters franchise, which will be entering its second season playing home games at Comerica Center in Frisco, Texas. The venue is owned and operated by the Dallas Stars organization.
“My family loves the indoor football game for its entertainment, affordability and family-oriented experience,” said Steve Germain. “There’s no question that the expertise and talent of the Dallas Stars organization will help us provide world-class entertainment in Frisco.”
“This partnership is a win for everyone involved,” said IFL Commissioner Todd Tryon. “I’m excited to see the value that the Stars will not only bring to the Frisco Fighters but to the IFL!”
Season ticket memberships and single game tickets will go on sale at a later date. Until then, fans can sign up for the Frisco Fighters “Takeoff” Priority List by visiting FriscoFighters.com/Takeoff. Takeoff Priority List members will be automatically included in future Frisco Fighters email notifications and gain access to ticket pre-sales prior to the general public.
The Frisco Fighters kick off their 2022 season on the road against the reigning champion Massachusetts Pirates on March 12. The first Frisco Fighters home game at Comerica Center will be Friday, April 1 at 7:35 p.m. against the Bismarck Bucks.
