“Gossip Girl” alum Jessica Szohr announced her engagement to NHL player Brad Richardson on Instagram Monday.
“I said yes!” the actress captioned a black-and-white selfie showing the lovebirds celebrating with a little bubbly, making sure her large, round diamond ring was in clear view.
Szohr then shared the post on her Instagram Story followed by a short video showing her getting glam for a “press day.”
Her former “Gossip Girl” co-star, Chace Crawford, was among the many social media users who flooded the sweet announcement with congratulatory messages.
“Love you guys,” Crawford, 36, gushed.
Szohr, who played Vanessa Abrams on the hit CW series, and Richardson, who plays for the Vancouver Canucks, made their relationship Instagram-official in April 2019 after attending the Stagecoach country music festival.
The pair revealed they were expecting in September 2020, and they welcomed their first child together — a daughter named Bowie Ella — in January 2021.
“Added a little special sweetness to our family and some new directions to our journey,” the first-time mom announced on Instagram at the time.
“This journey with Brad and [his daughter] Lexi has been one of the most beautiful experiences of my life,” she continued. “To then create a human that is absolutely perfect in our eyes and put a feeling in my heart I didn’t know existed is beyond words. I have all the feels and she is really something special.”
Richardson was previously married to Lauren Hunt, with whom he shares Lexi.
While this will be Szohr’s first marriage, she was previously linked to NFL star Aaron Rodgers, Hayden Panettiere’s ex Scotty McKnight and former “Gossip Girl” co-star Ed Westwick.
