Jamil joins a cast that includes Tatiana Maslany (Orphan Black) in the title role, along with Mark Ruffalo returning as Hulk, Tim Roth returning as villain Abomination, Ginger Gonzaga and Renée Elise Goldsberry.

Kat Coiro (Dead to Me, Modern Family) is directing the pilot and several other episodes. Jessica Gao (Rick and Morty) is serving as lead writer.

She-Hulk will follow Maslany’s Jennifer Walters, who in the pages of Marvel Comics is an attorney who gains powers after receiving a blood transfusion from her cousin, Ruffalo’s Bruce Banner.
