Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones posted a series of tweets on Wednesday to ‘clarify’ what happened between he and his finance, Jessie Moses, when he was arrested in Las Vegas.

Jones wad arrested and charged with misdemeanor domestic violence and injuring or tampering with a vehicle, a felony, on Sept. 24 at Caesars Palace Hotel and Casino. Details of his arrest emerged after the police report was made public as well as audio of Jones being taken into custody.

In the report, Moses claimed that Jones “touched the back of my head and pulled my hair a little bit but he did not hit me or anything.” She said that Jones grabbed her as she was trying to “trying to leave the room.” Officers observed “dried up blood on the lower part of her lip as if she was in a physical altercation.”

Cesars Palace security called the police after Moses went to the security desk asking for a key to her hotel room. The security guard noticed that she had blood on her clothing and lip. The report indicated that Moses became emotional and said that she was scared to go back to her room. One of Jones’ daughters asked security, “Can you call the cops?”

Jones has denied striking his finance and reiterated that on Wednesday. He also stated that his daughters were asleep during his and Moses’ argument and didn’t see or hear the altercation.

“I love how people are imagining the worst possible situation in their heads and making it somehow factual. I never hit my fiancé and our daughters were woken up after our confrontation. My daughters didn’t see or hear us arguing,” Jones wrote on Twitter.

“That’s really the only thing I care to clarify.. outside of that, looking forward to moving forward without alcohol. It’s the first time in my life where I’m actually ready to quit. Glad to have the support of my fiancé, family friends and fans,” Jones added in a second tweet.
