The following items were taken from Morton Grove Police bulletins. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt.

Traffic violations

Maersk Pancho, 37, of the 2100 block of Plainfield Avenue, Des Plaines, was charged Sept. 15 with driving under the influence of alcohol at the intersection of Dempster and Austin Streets, police said. A court date is set for Oct. 12.

Gumercindo Miranda-Gomez, 43, of the 3600 block of Lawrence Avenue, Chicago, was charged Sept. 15 with driving without a valid driver’s license on the 9100 block of Shermer Street, police said. A court date is set for Oct. 28.

Juan Ramos, 45, of the 600 block of McAlister Street, Waukegan, was charged Sept. 16 with driving on a suspended driver’s license on the 6200 block of Dempster Street, police said. A court date is set for Oct. 12.

Jackson Berrios-Arroyo, 38, of the 5700 block of St. Louis Avenue, Chicago, was charged Sept. 17 with driving under the influence of alcohol at the intersection of Dempster Street and Fernald Avenue, police said. A court date is set for Oct. 28.

Ivan Juarez, 19, of the 4700 block of Main Street, Skokie, and Eric Wagner, 19, of the 8200 block of New England Avenue, Niles, were charged Sept. 20 with fleeing law enforcement and driving on a suspended driver’s license at the intersection of Dempster and Oketo Streets, police said. A court date is set for Oct. 28.

Oscar Rostro-Ortiz, 45, of the 2800 block of Glenlake Avenue, Chicago, was charged Sept. 21 with driving on a revoked driver’s license at the intersection of Dempster Street and Central Avenue, police said. A court date is set for Oct. 7.

Suspicious incident

A man approached a complainant Sept. 13 offering to sell him jewelry for gas money and to fill the complainant’s gas tank on the 6300 block of Dempster Street before a third vehicle pulled up and the driver and subject exchanged words before leaving, police said.

Burglary

A complainant stated Sept. 16 that his MacBook Air, $100 in cash and a work ID were missing from his vehicle on the 7200 block of Lake Street after he found the vehicle and the glovebox open, police said.

Unlawful use of credit card

A complainant stated Sept. 16 he had gotten a text message from Walmart stating a package had been delivered despite not having ordered anything, before noticing that his card had been charged $237, police said.

Theft

A semi-truck was found missing from the 7800 block of Lehigh Street Sept. 16, police said.

A complainant stated Sept. 17 that a sweater worth $400 had been stolen from the 8400 block of Waukegan Road in 2021 and that about $2,000 worth of clothing had been taken since then, police said.

A complainant stated Sept. 20 that his vehicle had been stolen from the 9000 block of McVicker Street, leaving shards of glass in its place.
