On Thursday, President #JoeBiden introduced a more direct approach to tackling #COVID19.

The president introduced new vaccine guidelines for employers with 100 or more employees, health care and federal workers to offset the latest rise in COVID-19 cases.

During a press conference, Biden made sure to let the American people know that those who are unvaccinated were weighing on his last nerve. “We’ve been patient, but our patience is wearing thin, and your refusal has cost all of us,” he expressed.

He expressed that people are “frustrated” at those who refuse to get vaccinated, CNN reports.

“While America is in much better shape than it was seven months ago when I took office, I need to tell you a second fact: We’re in a tough stretch and it could last for awhile,” CNN also reports.

He also said vaccinated America is growing “frustrated” with the millions of people who have not received the vaccine and fuel the spread of COVID.

While Biden’s plan has several different components, many seem to not agree with employers who have 100 or more employees being required to mandate the vaccine or weekly negative tests.

If companies don’t comply, they would face thousands in fines.

Biden also signed an executive order that requires “all government employees be vaccinated against Covid-19, with no option of being regularly tested to opt out.”

According to CNN, it was also announced that  “300,000 educators in federal Head Start programs must be vaccinated.” He requested governors to mandate the COVID-19 vaccine for schoolteachers and staff.

To date, this is the most aggressive mandate for the COVID-19 vaccination.

Roomies, how do you feel about this?
