Press images of the Samsung Galaxy M54 have leaked online ahead of the device’s official launch. Sporting a different design to the Galaxy M53, the Galaxy M54 is expected to land shortly after Samsung presents the Galaxy S23 series.
MySmartPrice has leaked press images of the Samsung Galaxy M54 5G, over three months after details about the handset surfaced online. According to the website, Samsung plans to present the Galaxy M54 5G shortly after the Galaxy S23 series, which is due on February 1. MySmartPrice has not shared a specific release date yet, nor pricing information for any region.
While the website has not leaked information about how close the handset is to launching, it has offered a glimpse of how the Galaxy M53 successor looks. Surprisingly, the Galaxy M54 has one fewer rear-facing camera than its predecessor, although its curved rear panel remains. Camera specifications are unknown at this stage, but the leaked press renders confirm that the Galaxy M series will follow the Galaxy S23 series by adopting individual camera lenses.
The Galaxy M54 appears to feature thinner display bezels than the Galaxy M53, too. For some reason, Samsung refrains from bringing uniform bezels to its mid-range smartphones though, with the Galaxy M54 also rocking a distinctive chin. Based on the renders leaked so far, the Galaxy M54 will come in at least two colours, both with colour-contrasting frames. A capacitive fingerprint scanner will be present as well, mirroring its predecessor. Seemingly, the Galaxy M54 will be available with the Exynos 1380 chipset, not the Snapdragon 888 as was believed in October.
