Sans and Papyrus of Undertale fame are in line for Nendoroid figures

Toys to fill you with DETERMINATION

Two more legendary faces from the world of video games are joining the mammoth Nendoroid figure range. As revealed this morning by merch-makers Good Smile Co., the rascally duo of Sans and Papyrus from popular RPG Undertale will soon be given the dinky Nendoroid treatment, ready to sit on your bookshelves and offer you the worst life advice.

Unfortunately, Good Smile did not have any prototype images to show off, but the bony brothers were revealed on Twitter with an artist’s impression of their final forms. Fans can expect the two figurines to stand around four inches in height, and they may even be packaged with alternate faceplates and other accessories, such is the way of the Nendoroid range. Good Smile Co. listed the two figurines as “Coming Soon”, but I wouldn’t be surprised if we’re looking at late-2022.

The Nendoroid range continues to conquer pop culturedom with its huge range of chibi TV, movie, and video game stars. Among globally recognized characters such as Zelda, Link, Hatsune Miku, and Disney Princesses, the range also features lesser-known characters from franchises such as Sakura Wars, Sakuna: Of Rice & Ruin, Hololive, RWBY, My Hero Academia, Persona, and many, many more.

The Nendoroid figurines feature an intricately detailed design, with a charisma that I think puts them head and shoulders over the similar Funko POP toys, although this is reflected in a higher price-point, with the average Nendo retailing around $55 USD.

We’ll be sure to keep you posted when the Undertale Nendoroids are up for pre-order.

We’ve got big news today guaranteed to fill you with DETERMINATION!
