The second portion of WUFL features Soulcalibur VI, and the organizers tried to put together a solid lineup of contestants. There is a $50,000 prize pool reserved for the event, and the action kicks off on the 1st of April.

The players invited are: Party Wolf, Bluegod, Skyll, Linkorz, D3xus, Yoki, Keev, Shen Chan, Yuttoto, Aelz, Woahhzz, TheKura, AkeoPo, Saiyne, Myloes and Pantocrator. Sadly, no LATAM, Chinese or Russian players are present, but we cant have it all can we.

WePlay and 1xBet have put together a partnership agreement, making the provider the official betting partner of WePlay Esports events. Under this brand new deal, 1xBet will sponsor all WUFL tournaments in 2021, and all other events WePlay hosts this year.

SonicFox wins the first WePlayUFL MK 11 event
SonicFox has had an explosive few years in the fighting game scene, taking home victory in a number of major tournaments. What’s even more impressive is the amount of different games they manage to win out in. Our favorite furry deity struck once again and was crowned the Mortal Kombat 11 champion at WePlay Ultimate Fighting League.
Throughout the event, it was Tekken Master, who really seemed like the player to beat. He won against USA Dragon in the semi-finals, followed by going 3-1 against SonicFox in the final of the Winners bracket. Having already beaten out SonicFox in the bracket, the event looked about concluded with TekenMaster taking home first place.
Matching up against SonicFox twice in a row however, might have gone against Tekken Master. Being, kicked down to the losers bracket, SonicFox was allowed an extra game to try and figure out the playstyle and reactions of Tekken Master. Since he was largely playing as a zoning player, figuring out his patterns was key, and figured out they were.
The initial round of the Grand Finals still saw SonicFox assessing his opponent. After a while though, they completely turned the tables. SonicFox figured out Tekken Msster’s strategy, and went on to take the match 5-4. While this was a close final, SonicFox once again asserted themselves as the current top player of fighting games.

Coming into the remainder of the season, SonicFox is definitely on top of the crowd when it comes to fighting games. If you’re looking at betting on esports, then SonicFox is a fairly easy bet in any tournament. The new betting partnerships should also provide an easy avenue for it.
