Roommates, it’s always important to never drive under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Or driving while being exhausted. This morning, comedian Tiffany Haddish didn’t have the best start to her day in Georgia. According to TMZ, she was arrested early this morning in Fayette County, 40 miles south of Atlanta, and is facing a driving under the influence (DUI) charge after authorities say she was dozing off in the driver’s seat.
Tiffany was arrested after Peachtree City P.D. officers responded to a call looking for a driver who allegedly had fallen asleep at the wheel. Officers claim they spotted Tiffany’s car pulling into a neighborhood that matched the description of the vehicle in question. At the time of her arrest, cops believe she had smoked Marijuana. The Los Angeles native didn’t stay in police custody long at all. Reports show she was in jail a few hours and posted a $1,666 bond around 6:30 AM.
Lately, Tiffany has been quiet on social media but has taken time to share condolences for the late Bob Saget. As we previously reported, the comedian passed away on January 9th. He was found dead in his hotel room at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando, Florida, while on his comedy tour. Today he was laid to rest in a small ceremony in Los Angeles. Bob’s closest friends were in attendance, including his Full House costars, John Stamos, Dave Coulier, Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, Lori Loughlin, and Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen.
Tiffany also shared condolences for music producer Carl Craig. Tiffany penned a note four days ago on Instagram, writing, “This one hurts a lot @CarlCraig. When I first met you, we laughed for three hours. That was in 2004. You taught me so much about this business, you protected me, pushed me, Scolded me, advised me, and congratulated me. I love you, and I will keep you in my memories and heart R.I.P.” Tiffany has not spoken out about the arrest, but we’ll keep you updated if she does!
