Chase Hooper took his latest training camp very seriously as he spent time working with two of the most dangerous fighters in their respective styles the UFC has to offer.

Hooper returns to the octagon this Saturday in a matchup with Steven Peterson at UFC 263. The featherweight bout will take part during the event’s preliminary card at the Gila River Arena in Glendale, Ariz.

“The Dream” was able to get back in the win column in his most recent appearance at December’s UFC 256 event when he submitted Peter Barrett in the third round, which he believes helped keep his roster spot.

In an exclusive interview with MMA Fighting’s Mike Heck, Hooper discusses what he has done with his time off since the win over Barrett—which includes getting engaged—training with Ryan Hall, who then set him up for a trip to South Carolina to train with Stephen Thompson, what he took away from training with “Wonderboy,” feeling like he’ll have some new tricks for the fight, predicting an exciting fight due to Peterson’s style, and how he plans on getting his hand raised.
