Get your pick-axes, machetes, and other sharpened weapons ready—Zack Snyder’s Army of the Dead is nearly here. Even better, Netflix just unleashed the first 15 minutes of the movie on YouTube.

In the clip, we witness what appears to be patient zero for the zombie infection and the messy aftermath of his (its?) escape to Las Vegas. Flesh-hungry showgirls chow down on a Vegas performer. A zombified Elvis impersonator roams the streets. Dave Bautista kicks ass, as per usual. And in the video’s final moments, we witness the destruction of sin city, with nothing but zombies left in the ruins of the town. Frankly, it’s one of the best opening sequences to a zombie flick we’ve seen in years.

The self-described “zombie heist” stars Bautista, comedian Tig Notaro, Omari Hardwick, and Ella Purnell. And while you might be…chomping at the bit to watch the movie after seeing this clip, you won’t have to wait much longer, with the movie’s imminent release on May 21.

Even better, if you’re trying to kill time, you can take a trip down memory lane and watch Snyder’s first take on the zombie genre; back in 2004, the director was at the helm of Dawn of the Dead—a majorly violent and goddamn genius remake of the George A. Romero classic. Just don’t watch it before bedtime or you might have nightmares of the fast-moving-and-terrifying-zombie kind.
